Pneumatic seed drills MISTRAL are designed for sowing cereals (wheat, barley, rye, oat), leguminous, oil plants (pea, bean, soya bean, rape) and grass with seed sizes ranging from 1 mm to 10 mm.

Centralised seed metering is the heart of the whole system. It maximises the precision of drilling process. A precise volume of seed is metered by metering wheel. The volume metered is regulated with the shroud and continuously cleaned with the nylon brush. Metering precision does not depend on variation in seed, slope of a field or vibration. The profile of the metering wheel eliminates inaccuracy and blockages. The tank can be quickly and easily emptied by the central fast emptyin flap. Fine seeds can be drilled nearly completely out with only a small amount of seed left in the botton of the hopper (half a kilogram for maximum). The contents of the metering device should always be cleaned out thoroughly to prevent inaccuracy especially when drilling fine seeds or prevent rodent damage when the dril lis left standing for long periods.

The MISTRAL pneumatic seeding system is able to spread all categories of seeds over various working lengths (from 2.5 to 8 m) and can be fully customized by adding additional equipment including all types of tools for soil preparation (passive cultivators or rotating harrows) types of points, seeding capacity, electronic equipment, accessories, etc.

The basic components of MISTRAL seeding equipment have been successfully implemented in equipment that reduce the amount of pre-seeding soil preparation including non-ploughing techniques.
